These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and booking services operated by Sharda Travels — Basti Car Rental ( "Sharda Travels," "we," "us," or "our"), Basti, Uttar Pradesh 272001. By accessing our site, requesting a quote, or submitting a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Our services are offered only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using this website or booking a ride, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law in India.
If you book on behalf of others (e.g. family members), you represent that you are 18 or older and authorised to provide their travel details. We do not knowingly accept bookings from persons under 18.
Sharda Travels arranges outstation and local taxi / car rental services from Basti and surrounding areas. We connect customers with drivers and vehicles operated by us or our authorised partners. Fares, routes, and vehicle types are communicated before or at the time of confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Online and WhatsApp requests are not confirmed until we accept them by phone, WhatsApp, or SMS and assign a driver or vehicle. All bookings remain subject to availability, road conditions, and operational constraints.
You are responsible for providing accurate pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger count, and contact details. We are not responsible for failed pickups or missed journeys caused by incorrect information you supply.
Unless we agree otherwise, no advance payment is required to place a request. The fare (including applicable tolls, parking, state taxes, and driver allowances as communicated) is typically payable at the end of the trip by cash or UPI. Published per-km rates and estimates on the website are indicative only until confirmed by our office.
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup, as stated on our website. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a driver allowance or partial charge at our discretion. We may cancel or reschedule a booking for safety, weather, mechanical, or operational reasons.
Passengers must follow applicable laws, respect drivers and vehicles, and avoid behaviour that endangers others. We may refuse service or terminate a trip for abuse, intoxication, illegal activity, or refusal to pay agreed charges.
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of estimates, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation of the website.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in India, Sharda Travels and its owners, employees, agents, drivers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to:
Where liability cannot be fully excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of a single booking shall not exceed the fare actually paid by you for that trip, or ₹5,000, whichever is lower, except as required by mandatory consumer or motor-transport law.
You use our services at your own risk. You are solely responsible for deciding whether a journey is suitable for your health, schedule, and safety requirements.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sharda Travels and its personnel from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
We endeavour to operate insured vehicles and licensed drivers where required by law. Details of coverage may be provided on request. Nothing in these Terms expands insurance coverage beyond policy terms set by insurers.
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may also be noted on our homepage or WhatsApp channel where practical.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Basti, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer forum rules.
