A wedding is not one journey, it is thirty of them, most of which nobody remembers to plan. The bride's car has to be at the gate before the muhurat, not after it. Someone's chacha lands at Gorakhpur airport at 11 p.m. two days before. Twenty-two guests come off the Gorakhpur–Lucknow train at Basti station in one go and expect to reach the hall. For the main car — the one carrying the couple — most families choose a clean white sedan or an Innova, because both photograph well and both are easy to get in and out of in heavy clothing. We reserve the best-presented vehicle in the fleet for that duty and it goes out freshly detailed.
Around it, the working fleet does the real volume. MPVs carry immediate family between house, mandap and venue on repeat runs all day. Tempo Travellers take the baraat, and the twenty-six-seat mini bus handles guest movement in a single trip when a large party has to shift together. On most bookings we run a mix, with all the drivers in touch with one another.
The one instruction we ask every wedding client for is the muhurat time, and then we plan backwards from it with a real buffer. Vehicles for a timed departure are positioned at the pickup point well before the hour rather than dispatched at the hour — the difference sounds small and is the entire service.
Before the function we go through the day with you: how many vehicles, where each starts, who the point of contact is for each one, and which movements are fixed against which are flexible. Every driver gets that plan and your coordinator's number. On the day itself, one office number handles all changes, so you are not calling five drivers individually while getting dressed.
Vehicles arrive washed, vacuumed and presentable as standard, and that is included. Floral decoration for the main car is arranged through your own decorator — they know the theme and we do not want to be the reason the flowers clash. Tell us when the decorator needs access and we will have the car at their workshop or at your house in time.
We ask two things in return: no adhesive fittings on the paintwork, and the decoration comes off before the vehicle goes back on general duty. Beyond that, decorators are welcome to do what they like with the car.
Out-of-town guests are where most wedding transport quietly falls apart. Send us the arrival list — train numbers, flight numbers, names, dates — and we run the pickups as a scheduled block rather than as a stream of last-minute calls. Gorakhpur airport is about eighty kilometres out and needs a car sent in advance, so a late change there is expensive in time.
Basti railway station arrivals often cluster, with a dozen guests on one train, and we handle those with a single Tempo Traveller and a name board rather than four sedans. The same arrangement runs in reverse for departures once the function ends, which is when the family is least able to organise anything.
