How the fare is built
Round trip is twice the road. Sedan floor 40 km a day; Tempo 300; mini bus 400. Tolls and halt named before you leave.

The fight at the toll plaza is always the same: “the app said X.” Then parking. Then night halt. Then a driver who wants cash extra because the pin was in the wrong colony.
Which kilometres count, which daily floor, what is extra. Class rates are on the fleet page. The number that binds is WhatsApp before the car moves. No rupee table on this page — rates move, screenshots do not.
The unit is a billable kilometre
Outstation work is per kilometre of running for that vehicle class, with a daily floor. Local Basti work is often a point-to-point or hourly package because an 11 km station drop should not pretend to be an outstation formula. If you are not sure which bucket you are in, say the two pins. We will tell you before we send a car.
Round trip is the default on known routes
The route cards store one-way road kilometres (Basti → destination). A same-day return bills twice that distance, because the empty seats on the way home still burn diesel and still occupy a driver. Ayodhya at 67 km is 134 km of running if you come back to Basti the same day. Varanasi at 213 km is 426 km if it is a true out-and-back without an overnight halt changing the duty.

Minima exist because empty metal still costs money
A Tempo Traveller sent 18 km to a marriage hall and back is not “cheap per km”. It is a wasted dispatch. The floors we run: 40 km/day for sedan and MPV, 300 km for Tempo Traveller, 400 km for the 26-seater. If your loop is shorter, we quote a local package instead of insulting the formula.
One-way is another product
A one-way drop (Basti to Lucknow, car leaves you there) is not half a round trip. The car and driver still have to live somewhere that night. We quote one-way as one-way. If you want the details of when that is rational, read one-way taxi from Basti.
Named extras
Tolls
NH plazas are receipts, not a margin. We tell you if the route is a toll road before you leave.
Parking
Ram Mandir, Dashashwamedh-adjacent lots, Sangam Mela stands — these are cash at the gate. The driver does not eat them silently and they should not appear as a mystery line afterwards.
Night halt
If the driver sleeps out, that is a halt charge plus his food and a room. Overnight Kashi and Magh weeks include this in the confirmation or they are not confirmed.
Waiting
A two-hour darshan is normal. A seven-hour unannounced wedding padhao is extra duty. Say the shape of the day.
What a complete quote contains
- Vehicle class (not “a big car”).
- Whether the trip is local, outstation round trip, or one-way.
- Billable kilometres or the package that replaces them.
- Duty hours and night halt, if any.
- Tolls and parking: included, extra at receipt, or estimated.
- Pickup time and free-cancel window (24 hours before pickup).
If a quote is missing one of those, it is not cheap. It is unfinished. Book or WhatsApp the pins; we will finish it before the car moves.

- No. Per-km class rates live on the fleet listing and every trip is confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. This article explains the arithmetic so you can see whether a quote is complete — not so a screenshot can be used as a contract a year later.
- Why is a round trip twice the route kilometres?
- Because the car and driver have to come home. A 67 km road to Ayodhya is 134 km of running if you return the same day. One-way drops are a different product: the car still repositions, so they are quoted as one-way, not as half of a round trip.
- What is a daily minimum?
- Sedans and MPVs: 40 km per day. Tempo Traveller: 300 km. Mini bus: 400 km. Short city loops below the floor are billed at the floor, or as a local package, not as 8 km of fantasy running.
