The first booking of the night is often not a booking. It is a daughter in Basti whose father just landed at GOP and opened a bike-taxi app on the kerb. That story is who is driving at 2 a.m.?.

This page is the desk itself: Jigina, since 2018, chauffeur only. The car that was promised is the car that arrives.

What the desk can do

We are not a pan-India aggregator. We are a local fleet with a phone that a person picks up. The work splits into a few shapes, and it is worth naming them because they use different cars, different duty hours, and different waiting patterns.

• Local taxi inside Basti

  Station, roadways, Civil Lines, district hospital, collectorate, and the blocks around Harraiya and Rudhauli. Point-to-point, hourly, or a full working day. The driver waits. There is no meter to fight with at the end.

• Outstation cab on NH-27 and beyond

  Same-day returns to Ayodhya, overnight runs to Varanasi and Prayagraj, Lucknow for official work, Mathura–Vrindavan and Chitrakoot when the yatra is longer. We quote the road kilometres we publish on each route page, then confirm the fare on WhatsApp.

• Airport and railway transfers

  Pre-booked pickups at Basti station (BST) and Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport, Gorakhpur (GOP). Name board, waiting time, and a car that does not vanish if the flight is two hours late — that is the product, not a cheaper pin on a map.

• Group yatra and weddings

  Force Tempo Traveller (12–16) and mini bus (20–26) for baraat, guest shuttles, and temple parties that will not fit in an Innova. Group vehicles have higher daily minima because empty seats still cost diesel and a second driver duty.

How a booking actually runs

Confirm, then dispatch

You send pickup, destination, date, passenger count, and luggage on WhatsApp or through the booking form. We confirm the vehicle class and the fare before anyone leaves Jigina. There is no advance. If plans change, cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup.

One driver for the whole hire

The person who collects you is the person who waits at the ghat, the collectorate, or arrivals. We do not reassign the trip to a stranger three minutes before pickup. That is the difference between a local desk and an intercity marketplace.

What is not included until it is said

Tolls, parking, and night halt are communicated before departure. Temple “VIP” claims from strangers on the ghat are not a service we sell. Drivers know approach roads, drop points, and which lots fill first. Official darshan tickets, if a trust issues them, remain the trust’s.

The numbers we run

Marketing sites invent ratings. The useful numbers are the ones tied to the roads and the cars, because those are what a family in Khalilabad can check against a map.

Including night GOP pickups

Sedans and MPVs carry a 40 km daily minimum. Tempo Traveller despatch starts to make sense around 300 km of running; the 26-seater around 400 km. Those floors exist because a 16-seater does not pay for itself on a 12 km city loop.

What we are not

• A self-drive counter. If you want to drive yourself, this is the wrong firm.
• A promise of official VIP temple access. We sell a car and a driver who knows the road.
• A fare that is final only after the trip. If the quote was incomplete, that is our error to fix before you leave — not yours at the toll plaza.
